Niederbreitbach - Margarethe-Flesch-Straße (from the direction of NEUWIED: 3rd street on the right, from the direction of LINZ / BAD HÖNNINGEN / WALDBREITBACH: 1st street on the left) - Fockenbachtal (Fockenbachmühle) - cross the stream - steepest section (approx. 2 km) - fork in the street right - place Hollig - cross the junction (K88 / K90) and follow the K88 towards Neustadt / Wied. Abbreviation 1: Sports field on the left - through the Elsbachtal to the Wiedtal - Wiedtalstraße right on the cycle path via Waldbreitbach to Niederbreitbach Main route: on the K88 to the L 256 country road.
Abbreviation 2: K88 junction with L 256 left towards Breitscheid and Roßbach - down the valley to Roßbach - Wiedtalstraße - left towards Neuwied - exit on the bike path through the Wiedtal via Waldbreitbach to Niederbreitbach. Main route: junction K88 into L 256 turn right towards Fernthal / Neustadt / Wied - signs to Neustadt / Wied - continue through Fernthal Abbreviation 3: Fernthal exit - left towards Neschen - Neschen - Mühlenstraße downhill Nescher-Mühle (serviced) - through Masbachtal to Roßbach - Wiedtalstraße towards Neuwied - bike path through the Wiedtal via Waldbreitbach to Niederbreitbach.
